Frequently Asked Questions

What is soap?

Soap is a cleansing agent made from a combination of oil or fats with an alkali substance, such as lye. The process of making soap involves mixing these ingredients together and allowing them to undergo a chemical reaction called saponification, which results in the formulation of soap and glycerin. The soap mixture is then poured into molds, where it cools and hardens before being cut into bars. Additional ingredients, such as fragrances, colors, and exfoliants, can also be added to create a variety of different types of soaps.

Is the price for the number of bars displayed in the picture, or per bar?

This is the price per bar.

Do you do custom orders?

YES! We love to help make your occasions special by adding a custom touch. Keep in mind that due to the curing process, custom orders take approximately 4-6 weeks to cure before they can be shipped out to you for use, so please ensure ample time when placing your orders. You can reach out to us via the Contact Us page for additional info and pricing.

The soap I received looks slightly different from the picture on your website, why is that?

All soaps weigh approximately 4.5 ounces after curing, unless otherwise indicated. Because each small batch is handmade, you should expect slight variances in weight, color, and design.

How do I take care of my handmade soaps?

Use a soap dish or rack that offers plentiful drainage to ensure the soap can dry between uses.

Store soaps in cool, dry location that allows for air circulation.

The older the soap bar is, the better the soap becomes. Although the fragrance/scent may fade overtime, the soap itself will become better with age. Best to use within 1 year for best scent retention.

Keep soap stored out of direct sunlight.

To store several soaps, it’s best to store similar scents together as some scents may overpower others.

I entered my shipping address wrong, what do I do?

Oh no! We are so sorry to hear that. It is your responsibility, as the buyer, to make sure your address is correct and if a mistake has been made, to notify us ASAP via the Contact Us page so we can change it on the shipping label, if possible. If it has already shipped and is returned to us, we can invoice you for shipping and resend it once your address has been corrected.

My package arrived and it is damaged, missing items, or has incorrect items, what should I do?

Please contact us via the "Contact Us" page and we will do our best to make things right!
